'Do Bigha Zamin' (1953) will be screened at the Venice Film Festival 2025, in its 4K restored version. It'll be showcased under the Venice Classics section, which also includes 'Matador', 'Roma Ore 11', and 'Lolita'. The film, directed by Bimal Roy, will be restored and presented by Roy's children along with Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, director of the Film Heritage Foundation.
