According to a Bloomberg report, European Union officials are weighing a proposal to provide Ukraine with another €100 billion in grants and low interest loans. Disbursement of grants would begin in 2028 if the proposal is approved. Ukraine's Finance Minister had earlier said that Kyiv's national debt is nearing $171 billion. Ukraine has been at war with Russia since 2022.
