SL Bhojegowda, JD(S) Karnataka Legislative Council member, has been criticised for his remarks during a council discussion on issue of stray dogs. He said he oversaw killings of 2,800 dogs when he was serving as head of Chikkamagaluru municipal council. "We...had mixed something with meat...and buried them under coconut trees...let's go to jail...if needed for...safety of our kids," he said.
