IAS officer Alagu Varsini is facing criticism from Opposition in Telangana after she allegedly said students studying at government schools are not from a posh background and should wash their own toilets. Demanding her removal, BRS leader K Kavitha said, "The statement goes against the concept of establishing Gurukuls to protect marginalised communities' students from caste and class bias."
