'Homebound' movie director Neeraj Ghaywan has denied claims of paying only ₹10,000 to one of the families who inspired the film. Neeraj stated he gave ₹10,000 to the family during "initial research" for the movie. The filmmaker added that he didn't want to reveal the actual amount he paid to the family "because that would disrespect" his bond with them.
