The state of Illinois and city of Chicago sued US President Donald Trump for ordering deployment of National Guard in Chicago citing "ongoing violent riots and lawlessness". Illinois lawsuit alleges that Trump's order is based on a "flimsy pretext." Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said Trump is using "National Guard as pawns in his illegal effort to militarise our nation's cities."
