Suriya and Bobby Deol-starrer 'Kanguva' has made it to the list of contenders for Oscars 2025, competing with over 323 films from around the world. Other Indian films that have entered the list include 'Aadujeevitham', 'Santosh', 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', 'All We Imagine as Light', 'Girls Will Be Girls' and 'Putul'. 'Kanguva' was directed by Siva.
