Paul Ingrassia, US President Donald Trump's nominee to lead the White House Office of the Special Counsel, is being criticised after Politico revealed his racist remarks in Young Republicans Telegram group and private text chains. In one of the messages in 2024, Ingrassia wrote "never trust a Chinaman or Indian" in apparent reference to then-presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
