The death sentence of Indian nurse Nimisha Priya in Yemen has been overturned, the Grand Mufti of India Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad has claimed. The 37-year-old nurse from Kerala was sentenced to death for the alleged murder of Yemeni national Talal Abdo Mahdi. She was scheduled to be executed on July 16, but the punishment was postponed.
