Jan Suraaj Party leader Prashant Kishor dismissed Congress' claim of votes being bought by BJP for ₹10,000. "People here will not sell their future. If you calculate ₹10,000 comes down to ₹5.5 per day...who'll sell their vote for such an amount," he added. Ahead of Bihar polls, Nitish Kumar-led government announced a scheme to provide ₹10,000 financial assistance to women.
