A lawsuit challenging US President Trump's decision to increase H-1B visa fee to $100,000 has been filed in federal court in San Francisco. Stating that the new fee imposed on the visa has "thrown employers, workers, and federal agencies into chaos", the plaintiffs claimed Trump has no authority to do so. It is the first lawsuit to challenge Trump's decision.
