After the NDA Chief Ministers' conclave, BJP National President JP Nadda said, "We don't do caste politics, but want to bring the deprived...into mainstream." He added, "This is the need of society." His remarks came after the conclave passed two resolutions- one on Operation Sindoor and another on caste census. Earlier, Centre decided to include caste census in national census.
