During Ambubachi Mela, a red cloth called Rakta Bastra is draped over the goddess’s yoni at Kamakhya Temple, symbolising her menstrual cycle. After the temple reopens, the cloth is distributed as 'prasad'. Devotees believe it holds divine energy, capable of granting fertility, healing ailments, and removing obstacles from life.
