Salman Khan said Ashneer Grover quoted incorrect figures while claiming he signed the actor for advertisement campaigns. Salman said, "Your way of talking isn't like [when you made the claims]...I didn't even know your name," after Ashneer said making Salman a brand ambassador was the "smartest move". The entrepreneur later apologised to Salman on Big Boss 18 over his remarks.
