A study by Australian Institute of Family Studies has revealed that one in three men have committed intimate partner violence in the country. Intimate partner violence is defined as emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Roughly one in four men had committed intimate partner violence when the survey was last conducted in 2013-2014. Emotional abuse was the most common form reported.
