The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said that security forces killed a terrorist as part of Operation Akhal in Kulgam. "Intermittent and intense firefight continued through the night...Alert troops responded with calibrated fire and tightened the noose while maintaining contact," the Army said. Earlier, three terrorists responsible for Pahalgam attack were killed as part of 'Operation Mahadev'.
