Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) and nine other trade unions will protest against the newly-launched labour codes on Wednesday. According to HMS General Secretary Harbhajan Singh, the codes' provisions linked to factory closure, right to strike and eased compliance burden have "direct impact on lives...of workers". The unions called the codes "nothing short of declaration of war on working masses".
