At least 11 people, most of them from the same family, died, and four others were injured after their vehicle lost control and fell into the Saryu Canal in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district on Sunday, the police said. CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences over the incident and announced an ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh for the family of each deceased.
