An 11-year-old boy in Kerala's Malappuram died after his collar got stuck on a protruding nail in his bedroom wall, which caused him to suffocate. The fabric reportedly tightened around his neck and cut off his airflow. His father rushed to the room on hearing him scream and immediately took him to hospital, but the child succumbed to his injuries.
