Responding to a question in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol stated that 112 pilots of Air India took sick leave four days after the Boeing 787-Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad on June 12. Those on leave included 51 Commanders (P1) and 61 First Officers (P2). "Air India reported a minor increase in sick leaves reported by pilots," he stated.
