Navi Mumbai Police have booked 12 members of the Bahira family for allegedly obtaining a CIDCO plot fraudulently in Panvel. They reportedly used a deceased relative’s identity and forged documents to secure a 1,100 sq m plot in Kamothe. An impersonator allegedly signed the lease agreements, enabling the family to claim possession and construct a building.
