In a major push for digital self-reliance, the Centre has moved over 12 lakh government employee email accounts, including those of the PMO, from NIC to Zoho’s indigenous cloud platform. The shift aims to boost data security, cut foreign reliance, and support India’s homegrown tech under 'Swadeshi' digital drive. Zoho’s integrated office suite is now fully embedded in the official email system.
