A 12-year-old, diagnosed with kidney failure in October 2024, received a life-saving kidney transplant at KIMS Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, despite an incompatible blood group with her mother. The hospital team used a special desensitisation protocol, marking Andhra Pradesh's first pediatric incompatible kidney transplant.
