Researchers have uncovered 13 new species of bush frogs across Northeast India. While six species were located in Arunachal Pradesh, three species were discovered in Meghalaya’s hilly forests. Other species were found in Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur. Many of these frogs live only in specific forests or reserves, which makes them extra vulnerable if those habitats disappear.
