As part of a crackdown on illegal immigration in the national capital, Delhi Police said, "134 Bangladeshi nationals, including 38 women and 43 children, have been sent for deportation" following 14 drives across the city. Police added, "Multiple teams...are visiting slums and suspected areas to check Voter IDs and Aadhaar cards to identify suspected Bangladeshi immigrants."
