Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been named vice-captain of Bihar for Ranji Trophy 2025-26 campaign. "Young sensation Vaibhav, fresh from an impressive IPL 2025 stint and a record-breaking U-19 performance, steps in as vice-captain," the Bihar Cricket Association wrote on social media, while announcing the team for the first two matches. Vaibhav has played five first-class matches so far.
