A Galapagos tortoise aged about 141 years passed away due to age-related issues at the San Diego Zoo in the US. Named Gramma, the tortoise lived through more than 20 US presidents and two global pandemics. She was born before humans first achieved flight and was in her mid-80s before the first human stepped foot on the moon.
