A 17-year-old boy from Tamil Nadu's Kanniyakumari district died after collapsing following complaints of breathlessness on Thursday. His family said he had been on a juice-only diet for three months, inspired by a YouTube video. They told doctors and police he hadn't consulted any medical or nutritional expert before starting the extreme diet.
