Raikot's administration has initiated process of demolishing Nanakshahi bricks' structures constructed during 17th century for residents' safety. While some had fallen during recent rains, the Sandooki roof of Talwandi Gate was demolished on Monday night. Raikot Municipal Council president said that the issue regarding preservation of such structures will be discussed in council's general meeting.
