At least 19 workers were trapped inside a tunnel after a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall blocked its entrance in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh on Sunday, officials said. "Large boulders have blocked the tunnel's mouth. Efforts are underway to clear the debris," police stated. The tunnel reportedly belongs to the Dhauliganga Power Station, which is operated by the hydropower company NHPC Limited.
