An elderly man was allegedly assaulted with an iron rod by two persons in broad daylight in Delhi’s Sarita Vihar. The man was attacked after one of the accused suspected him of tipping off authorities about an illegal construction that was later demolished, police said on Saturday. The incident took place when the victim was on his way to work.
