Pune’s Nanded City Police arrested two people for extorting ₹20,000 from a man they followed from Budhwar Peth, a red-light area. The accused threatened to expose his visit unless he paid and even filed a false complaint. Police investigation revealed the blackmail plot, and both were arrested.
