Two jail officials have been dismissed, while the Chief Superintendent of Prison has been transferred, over prisoners at Bengaluru central jail getting alleged VVIP treatment, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said. This comes after purported videos showed the inmates partying with alcohol, using phones and watching TV surfaced online. He added that an IPS officer will now head the jail.
