Anand Pandey, Editor in Chief of The Sootr, and Harish Divekar, Managing Editor of news website, were picked up by Rajasthan Police in MP's Bhopal for publishing false news reports on Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari. The police stated Anand and Harish demanded ₹5 crore to take down material from website. A spokesperson for The Sootr called police action "unlawful".
