Two women Naxalites carrying a collective bounty of ₹6 lakh were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district on Wednesday evening, police said. Their bodies were recovered from the spot on Thursday morning. So far, 214 Naxalites have been killed in separate encounters in Chhattisgarh in 2025. Of them, 197 were eliminated in the Bastar division.
