Two policemen were suspended after a 21-year-old tribal youth, Mohammad Parvez, was killed in an alleged police firing in Jammu, with his family claiming that he was innocent. The district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident. "Use of force by the police has to be calibrated and cannot be indiscriminate," Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah said.
