Deadly violence erupted during a Copa Sudamericana clash between Argentina's Independiente and Chile's Universidad de Chile. According to the BBC, violence broke out at halftime when Universidad de Chile supporters hurled stones, bottles, and pieces of seating toward Independiente fans. Ten people were injured, while two supporters were stabbed during the clash.
