A two-year-old girl died of a serious head injury in Mumbai's Juhu after a 20-year-old college student fell on her. The victim, Vidhi Agrahari, was playing when he fell on her while playfully jostling with his friend. She was admitted to Cooper Hospital, where she succumbed two days later (January 4). Police booked the student for causing death by negligence.
