Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said on Tuesday that a total of 20 children from the state have died so far after drinking a contaminated cough syrup. He further said five children are under treatment for kidney failure in Nagpur. Describing the fatalities as extremely tragic, he said government will extend all possible help to the affected families.
