A 20-year-old female student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a food stall worker inside IIT Madras campus on June 25. The accused allegedly approached the student with a stick, demanded her phone number and tried to grab her hair. She escaped and alerted the campus security, who caught the accused and handed him over to the police.
