Responding to reporter's question on why Bihar special intensive revision (SIR) was conducted in hurried manner during monsoon, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar said SIR in Bihar in 2003 was also conducted during monsoon. He stated the SIR was conducted in 2003 from July 14 to August 14. He added SIR on both occasions was conducted successfully.
