Assam security forces apprehended and pushed back 21 Bangladeshi nationals who illegally entered Indian territory via Sribhumi border around midnight. Officials said they crossed with “nefarious intentions.” CM Himanta Biswa Sarma quipped on X, “Freedom at midnight? Quite literally!”
