A 22-year-old third-year MBBS student from Government Medical College, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, was found dead in his hostel room. Hailing from Kancheepuram, he was discovered by friends after failing to respond the next morning. Police have registered a case under Section 194 of BNSS; post-mortem will determine the cause of death.
