Punjab Police arrested a 22-year-old man with 15.775 kilograms of heroin worth around ₹75 crore. The accused has been identified as Sonu and was apprehended from an embankment along the Sutlej River in Ferozepur with heroin allegedly smuggled from Pakistan. Drug smugglers operating along the Ferozepur border have become highly active, taking advantage of the ongoing flood situation, police said.
