In a major wildlife trafficking bust, the Sashastra Seema Bal’s 64th Battalion and Barpeta Forest officials seized 224.74 kg of pangolin scales and arrested three persons from the Bengaluru–Guwahati Express at Barpeta Road Railway Station. The case has been handed over to the Forest Department and NCB Guwahati for legal action.
