BJP MP Anurag Thakur addressed a press conference in Jammu on Monday, praising the Union Budget 2025-26 as a "roadmap of development". He commended the PM Modi-led government for "lifting 25 crore Indians out of multidimensional poverty" over the last decade. At the conference Thakur also criticised AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of evading accountability over critical CAG reports.
