The Korea Press Ethics Commission (KPEC) issued official notice to 25 media outlets, warning them against using Kim Soo-hyun's name "carelessly". KPEC reiterated that implying Soo-hyun's guilt in relation to Kim Sae-ron is misleading and risks defamation and misinformation as the allegations have not been proven. "It causes emotional damage to the person's family and acquaintances," read notice.
