BJP Rajya Sabha MP Lahar Singh Siroya has written to the Election Commission of India (ECI) seeking an investigation into allegations of vote purchase for Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's victory in 2018 state elections. He said Siddaramaiah's aide CM Ibrahim has admitted he helped buy 3,000 votes in the CM's favour. Siddaramaiah had won the Badami seat by 1,696 votes.
