An earthquake of 3.1 magnitude on the Richter scale and 10 km depth below the surface struck the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir at 1.36 am on Monday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported. Another low-intensity earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Subansiri district at 10.59 pm on Sunday.
