At least three people died, and three were injured after a blast occurred at the Mariyammal Firecracker Factory near Tamil Nadu’s Sivakasi on Monday. A person who was injured in the blast stated, "While we were working, an unexpected accident occurred...there were loud noises...we panicked and ran away." The fire department had rushed to the spot after the blast.
